About Pinter Instruments
With a background in the guitar industry, and many years of guitar as a passionate hobby, Michael Pinter decided he could build a "better mousetrap." After many hours of sketching and drafting, templates were cut, a man with a CNC machine in his garage was found, and a prototype was made. Michael managed to interest luthier Randy Robinson in the project and a business was born.

Three more models were added. we did some advertising and a couple of NAMM shows, and received some favorable print and YouTube reviews. The guitar we named the SBI-R "Rock model" is now in its 4th design generation. We hope you enjoy playing our instruments as much as we do making them.
