This is the guitar we had in mind when we launched Pinter Instruments. It is our take on a proper guitar for the rock and pop player.
The model R (and all of our models) is what we call a Semi Custom instrument. with the exception of CNC assisted fabrication of body and neck in Portland, Oregon, it is built and hand finished by craftsmen in Southern California, and features our own unique ergonomics-first body design and straight line headstock. Although it has a high level of skilled hand input in it’s manufacture, we have limited and somewhat standardized available options, which include a choice of tremolo or hardtail bridges on the R and C models, and a choice of three colors for each basic model. This helps us keep our prices as reasonable as possible.
Speaking of the body shape, our SB series guitars must be played in both standing and seated positions for the design to be appreciated. They are finely balanced and give a low sensation of mass while playing.
This model of the SB series features the medium output, custom hand wound Righteous Sound “Tiburon” pickup set, which has a moderately aggressive yet very musical horn-like quality. Other standard features include individually selected pau ferro fretboard on a maple neck, with extra large frets – which are hand rounded and polished on the fret-ends for a premium playing feel; Hipshot mini locking tuners; Wilkinson VS-100 tremolo bridge or Hipshot Fixed Bridge; all black hardware; compact alder body with the best ergonomics in the business (in our opinion, of course); Schaller strap locks are pre-installed and included in the price. Paint is an automotive type premium metallic formulation with our own unique colors, with a choice of three color options unique to this model.
The SB1-R model: offered with pride for your consideration and playing enjoyment, at US$2,450, in either tremolo or hardtail configuration; including a custom fit Protec Contego hybrid case.
